What’s The Installation Process Like?

Our process is designed to make things as simple as possible for you.

For Sun Partners

Going solar on someone else’s roof is as simple as a click. If the solar project is still under construction, we’ll keep you updated throughout the process.

For Sun Hosts

It typically takes 4-6 weeks from the time you make your decision to the beginning of energy production. Here’s what the process looks like:

1. We visit your roof with our installation team to conduct a survey. This includes taking measurements, accounting for special conditions such as shading, and evaluating the condition of your roof.
2. While you sit back and relax, we create the system design and complete the required paperwork (such as an application to your utility and various permits).
3. Our local installation team returns to your roof and installs the solar energy system. The actual installation takes a day or two for a small to mid sized roof. Then we secure all necessary inspections and permission to operate, and snap a beautiful photo of your new solar roof!
